Grease Fire in Kitchen in Union City, CA

This Grease Fire happened around 8.00am in morning when homeowner wanted to fry something before going to work. She put a pan full of oil on stove and went to get something upstairs.
By the time, smoke alarm went off. Husband ran downstairs and saw oil was on fire! He immediately called 911.
Fire department came who took care of fire, which damaged kitchen area. Smoke was in kitchen, Living Rm, Family Rm and bathroom were affected by soot.
Customer called SERVPRO OF TRACY in afternoon and Randy and his team went straight away to scope the job.
All the contents on kitchen countertop like blender, juicer, toaster, medicines etc. were all damaged and unreplaceable.
Some contents cutlery, glassware, dinnerware, pots and pans were pack out for clean-up and storage.
After fire, water has damaged most of the contents.
Our team cleaned up the fire mess and set up the equipment to dry out. Grease fire in kitchen total loss, we finished the job cleaning and demo in 3 days to get ready and put back for general contractor.
The after picture was taken only taken 3 days after the fire. Our customer was expecting a much longer process and they were thrilled with the results.
Customer really appreciated our work and we left it " Like it never even happened."
